We would like to update you on how our service has changed due to the COVID-19 health scare; we are trying to keep YOU and ourselves safe.
A great many computer issues can be diagnosed WITHOUT a home/office visit; that is by doing a remote login session.
Typically these are PC only issues, not issues related to networks, printers.
We can book a time, call you on the phone and by downloading and logging in remotely we can diagnose and quite often fix PC issues.
Also the rate we charge for this service is about half the normal rate.
If you do need a site visit at home or in the office, we will provide a mandatory temperature reading of the staff member involved taken on the morning of the visit which will be sent to both your email address and your mobile phone number.
Any time a temperature reading is outside of normal range appointments will be cancelled by us.
If customers are nervous for any reason appointments can also be cancelled on the day, without cancellation charges.
We have always practised safe hygiene by using hand sanitizer repeatedly whilst out on the road.
That will continue, we have a supply of hand sanitizer,
but as an extra measure we will also use rubber gloves when entering any home or office for the purposes protection for staff and customers alike. Also no handshakes, hi fives or any other touching and maintaining a distance of 1.5m where possible.
Also other measures that may be of interest -
Setting up working from home facilities. A large number of employers are taking this precautionary measure to stop the spread of the virus.
We can setup a VPN, connect employees to their work environment and access all the usual resources they need to continue working.
Maintaining regular internet connectivity, vital for keeping up to date with information as it comes to hand, and staying in touch with family and friends.
The NBN Co, (and all ISPs such as Telstra, Optus, TPG, iiNet) are preparing for a huge increase in demand, as people gear up to work from home and increase the use of streaming services.
Please be aware and ready for the coming months.
